DHIS 2 Play - FHIR Demo

This site demonstrates the interoperability between DHIS 2 and a FHIR server, which is achieved by the DHIS 2 FHIR Adapter. The DHIS 2 FHIR Adapter is currently optimized to handle national FHIR profiles that are based on standard coding systems like LOINC, SNOMED CT, CVX and others or even on national coding systems (e.g. national coding system for immunization).

In order to see how it looks like, you can follow these steps:

  2. After a few seconds (maximum 4) you can use the user interface of the FHIR Server in order to see the created or updated FHIR Patients, Organizations, Locations, Encounters, Observations and Immunizations.
  3. Also the other SMART based applications can be used to see the entered data. Please note, Growth Chart Application only displays weight data when the program stage instance has been completed in DHIS 2 (results in FHIR observation status final).
